ok, forgive me for being thick headed here, but trying to understand the science Brian, Mike, et. al have brought to the thread and want to make sure I understand some of the forces correctly.
Is it correct to say that at start down there should only be tangential force(ie: force along the shaft) until the shaft is roughly parallel to the ground, and at that point we can add some force across the shaft or toss, into and through impact?
Please let me know if I'm on the right track or not.
Thanks
