Yo . . . As Brian has shown . . . there are many great ball strikers Lee Buck for one . . . that TWISTED that thang . . .

But when would Twist Away not be a remedy for a ball flight/compression illness? Or is it for everyone?

It's a celebration . . .

I love Twistaway .. since I discovered that one hand movement ive played better than ever. I firmly believe that Twistaway has educated my hands

Yup that's what it's supposed to do.

(unless you're one of the guys who actually swings like that for real....then it's not just a drill obviously)

Brian said before "the only people who need Twistaway are:"

....he gave a list before....can't remember what it was.....I remember slicers and flippers....that's it.

Maybe ppl having trouble getting the clubface off the plane...?

you don't need to do it anymore once you have acquired much more clubface control. However it is still something you could do consistently and make it work. Look at Trevino

I knew Placid! (inside joke)

If you hook the ball...and you hit it straighter with a more open clubface at the top.

Heck, no matter what, if you hit it better with LEFT THUMB UNDER at the top, go right ahead.

I don't twistaway.

I don't need to.

.

I get what you mean about clubface control and twistaway ( it decreases the openness of clubface) and it seems a good way of reinforcing the extensor action ( for my feeling at least - eg. like holding a rope straight - to get it really straight you can pull very hard on one end OR just same longitudinal tension but twist it a little to take up the slack)

BUT your quote above leads me to a question...

So what are the people who hit it straight with a more open clubface at "end/top" doing differently on the downswing to the guys that need a more closed clubface at the top?

Is it a question of quality of pivot / axis tilt / weeding out the flip?

Thanks for any replies.
