Which Video is Recommended for Purchase?

Lots of videos on this site. So which one do I buy? How do I know which is right for me? Are there any videos that need to be "redone" or re-edited after the Anti-Summit?

Help?

all of them :D
I have found that the value of the information is great and while I don't apply all of the different patterns to my game knowing them is valuable and let's face it, they really aren't expensive.

ktkn,

Welcome.

I'd start with Soft Draw, then Never Hook Again, then Never Slice Again if I wanted a feel for my stuff.

All of the videos will be redone eventually.

I would buy the three Brian mentioned. You'll spend less on those three videos combined than you will on most of the single junk videos out there.

Unless you have some specific information you're looking for, go with those 3. If your miss is a big right fade/slice, you might want to start with NSA...

I'm not really sure what's in the videos. I thought all the videos were teaching a specific pattern? If I buy all of the above mentioned, do I then mix/match the patterns? Or is to buy all of them to see which one fits me best and then I choose?

Soft draw is like Payne Stewarts swing. NHA is modeled after David Toms. NSA is for chronic slicers and contains things you implement in your swing until you are consistently moving the ball right to left.

Manzella's "matrix" is made up of all of the othrodox swings that can work, from a big fade swing to a big draw swing. Imagine a spectrum with a big fade on one side, and a big draw on the other, with all playable swings somewhere in the middle. Soft draw is slightly on the draw side of the spectrum, and NHA is slightly on the fade side of the spectrum. NSA is further out on the draw side of the spectrum than Soft Draw is. Hope this helps.

Tell us what your swing tendancies are and maybe you will get a more specific answer as to which one to buy first. Most of us own all of them. They are that good. You will be able to pick things out of each of them and eventually custom fit your swing.

I'm not sure what I can tell you because I don't really know. I've been following a lot of Shawn Clement (very reaadily available online) and trying his swing (not try as the keyword, I doubt I'm executing). I wanted to purchase a dvd as an alternative to real life lessons (yes I realize lessons would be better) and was considering either Manzella or Clements DVDs. However, I am a little afraid to mix and match instructor swings because I do know they differ (eg: Clement advocates the cupped left wrist while Manzella prefers the flat left wrist), and not only that, if I get Manzella's DVDs, I'm a little afraid that I won't be knowledgeable enough to pick and choose different parts from each swing or choose parts of each that do not complement each other. Not sure if you know what I mean... Also, there are always budget constraints unfortunately.

Suggestions? Also, Does Manzella offer any discounts on his DVDs if I buy all 3? I know he deserves every penny but would be helpful. Thanks.

I think your missing what I and everyone else are asking. What problems are you having with your swing? What are your misses and your tendancies? That is what these videos do. For example, if you are slicing the ball some than you need to get Never Slice Again. The titles speak for themselves. Tell us what your misses are and your goals and we can suggest the right one.

I understand the question, but I'm all over the place? I've just started so I haven't really even hit my driver yet and working on my really short game so I can at least play pitch and putt. I would consider myself a raw beginner that has read a lot online. I'm not really to the point where I "want" any desired ball flight unless you're talking about straight and on target. I'm not interested or even concerned with working the ball, etc. My goals are realistic, I want to break 120 the very first time I play a full par 72 course (have yet to play) and break 100 this season. That should give you an idea of where I am at. Perhaps you can say I'm your typical beginner?

I play SGI Irons and run away from thin top lines even if they feel "buttery soft." I like square head drivers, fat soles, big chunky clubs that good "players" scoff at. I'm not only new to the game but new to the equipment as well and I unlike 99.9% of everybody else actually thought these clubs looked better because I've never really been exposed to the game or the equipment so yes, I don't know any better. I levitate towards the magical three letters MOI and want as much help as I can get.

I love the game and it's part of my life but I do not want golf to become my life (a lot of you probably don't have a clue as you love it too much which I respect). I want to practice at the driving range and be fun. I do not want to practice so much as it becomes work. I see it as a game i can continue to play 30 years down the road and continually improve and enjoy the game with good friends and family.

I know I STILL haven't answered any of your questions but I simply do not know enough to answer them. Perhaps best way to put it is I'm your typical beginner. Is it necessary that somebody see my swing before I know which video to get?

Regarding my other question about getting all the video, is that a detriment to somebody like me who really doesn't know what to take from each and mix and match?

Sorry for the thread jack. Is there anyway to get a downloaded video back? My home computer died while I was out of the country and I didn't have a back up of your videos. I was looking around for my Soft Draw and Flipper videos the other day and realized they were on that computer.

+1 for building blocks. At very least it will give you a pretty solid grip and sequencing.

I'm curious regarding this question too as it hasn't seem to be addressed yet.
