Kaymer likes Dubai, but I'm gona take Westy, mainly because I think Kaymer is fighting an injury. So, Kaymer and Wesy already taken, that leavs some poor guy with Woods:eek:

2.9 decimal odds (aprox 2-1 in good ole fractional odds) is the going rate for Woods to win the 3 ball outright (reduced odds if there is a tie).

Kaymer is favourit at 2.6, Westy the outsider at 3.25.

It's a Thurs/Fri game, so Eldrick should be okay. It takes a couple days to get the Ambien/Hooka mix just right.

At those odds, I'd see the most value in a Westwood bet.

When he needs an eagle at the last to avoid lying about 70th, you have to ask youself if it really has come to an embarassing end for Woodsy.

Did you expect him to go an entire career without any dips in form?

I know what you're saying, but this is more than just a dip IMO. The mental (car crash, divorce etc), physical (injuries, buking up then down a little) and swing (Butch, Hank, Sean...) changes he has made have left him too damaged to get back to where he was.

His lack of a sense of humility and moderation have caused him many problems that the likes of Nicklaus, Watson, Mickelson etc have avoided. He's a victim of the times in many ways - doctors prescribing him legal but dangerous drugs, swing gurus, powerful agents, wealth management companies, public image projection etc etc all wanting a piece of him. How many people could cope with this kind of pressure 24/7. Maybe he was just looking for some kinda release or "downtime" with his alleged "late night activities".

All in all I just think he is totally burnt out. In other words physically and mentally damaged beyond repair.

But IMO a guy like BManz, who has undoubted huge ability and knowledge as a coach and seems to me to be a grounded guy with a strong personality and a lot of experience of life could help Tiger to get back at least to somewhere near where he was. But I'm not sure Tiger has the insight to know what he needs.

Hmm. Is it too late to take that bet?

For all the naysaying, I still get the feeling that he is far from done.

If anyone has the mental strength to come back from all these problems its him.
