Wrist tac-tic

I see that Ben Doyle promotes the wrist tac-tic on his website. Is it really any good? Most training aids have a few flaws, does the wrist tac-tic have any? Is there any way to make a homemade version of something similar to see if I want to buy it?

I have one. One flaw mine has is that I almost have to cup my left wrist to make it tic on the backswing. Other than that I think it's good, it'll tell you about you're loading procedure. And teach you to waggle (sp?) ..............

I like mine, flaw... might get loose on the hand but you can figure it out and tighten it so you hear the click, which is the advantage over the pencil. The video that comes with it is a gem, pure gold. Doyle swings a club and demos his way of using the tac-tic. You learn so much watching his "educated hands" move the club.

I have discovered a problem with the Wrist Tac-Tic and that is if the person is hard of hearing, they wont hear it. Learning the feel is not as easy since it does not resist the wrist bending.

Caution pencils and tongue depressor can be harmful to the hand.

Tac-Tic is a good aid.

I have one...the other suggestions here (pencil..etc..) are good approximations of it...it really serves as a reminder on the back swing..and..an aid to lag on the downswing...so, I guess it works for me...the video is very good...
