Question regarding low point/face angle on The Sheriff

Should we all be getting putters with less loft then? What about negative loft putters? I'm not talking about a lot of negative loft, maybe just -1*. Maybe a putter with no loft would be ideal, don't know.

I'm really interested in how the new information will affect equipment design. Sadly I don't think hard science has much of a chance against glitz and advertising. The informed player always finds a way though.

So, when setting up in the Sheriff, if the black line is your low point, how far in front of it should the ball be?

You should not hit a putt at the low point of your stroke.

The putter should be on the rise, a couple of degrees.

So the putter needs to be OPEN relative to the plane to make the putt, or else do like Tiger and aim right,

Is that why Tiger tries to hook his putts (to get it online)?

So you have to swing left if it is open?

If you aim straight and hit up, you won't be swinging more left plane-line-wise. But the path will be more left relative to the face, because the face will need to be open to the arc to hit it straight.
