Who are they? They are about reverse pivoting.

Maybe it could work for someone. Too many people being taught this stuff though.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum.

Being taught what? The pics just go along with what Brian is saying
Players are Alex Cejka and Dean Wilson

Thanks.

No they don't though. They fairly clearly are Stack And TilterS.

And your name is "StableAxis". And you have 2 posts. You joined either tonight, or within 4 days ago...

If I am off base, please set me straight.

I do not wish to speak for Brian either, but I thought the general thread topic was clear enough.

Not being hostile at all, but all those pics(except Jim F's) look the same.

Truly you aren't being "hostile."

I really hope I don't have you pegged wrong, so I am gonna back off.

The pics Brian posted are the same, including Jim Furyk's, in that they have left (to their left) leaning torsos.

Perhaps you were looking at something else?

The two guys you posted are both into the same methodoligy at the moment. Maybe you did not know this, or thought it was beside the point you were trying to make.

Why did you post the pics? (what mechanic were you trying to show?)

The problem is, all of these pictures are only snapshots in time of a continuously changing event. In each picture, each golfer would look to be in a different position a moment before or a moment after each of these pictures were taken.

StableAxis has a name. It is Andrew Patnou. How do I know? Well, last night when he first tried to upload the pics, he failed. It only showed the location of the files. That is where I saw his name.

A little search and low and behold, Andrew is TalyorMadeAP25. Amazing how these guys get banned and then can't help but register under another name just to stir the pot.

BTW, Alex and Dean rank 173 and 271 respectively.

More disingenuousness from the "revolutionary" brigade--Cejka's and Wi's lower bodies are clearly further forward than what was indicated by Brian's pictures.

I believe what Brian is pointing out is that they are not trying to "stay centered" on the backswing.....not that anyone can adequately define "the center" anyway. There are multiple instananeous centers established throughout the movement of the swing.

Most great players have had lateral movement of those centers. The lateral shift of those centers slows down and stops as the clubhead gets closer to the ball.

In my opinion, some of the players that are trying to keep their "center(s)" in the same place are actually moving them backwards. In an effort to use a "stable" center to maintain and modulate swing radius...AND keep the orbit of the hands inside the orbit of the club, they've actually added stress and tension in the forearms (because of the last rotational center moving backwards).

It's been my observation that great ball strikers have had some lateral movement AND have fully released the golf club freely, and the orbit of the hands has stayed inside the orbit of the club.

That pretty much sums it up!
