Aaron Baddeley's win revives Stack and Tilt discussion

I think it's a moot point unless his grip changes from what Haney taught him. It looks to me like he has the same grip.

Yeah, although I remember seeing a clip very quickly after he started working with Foley, and he seemed to have a slightly stronger grip. I thought this was going to be great for him. Now, in all the recent clips, it looks like he's back to dead neutral/slightly weak again. Not sure if this is where Foley wants it, or if it's just Tiger's old habits dying hard.

Even when Baddely WAS S&T'ing, the in-tournament video clips of him still showed much more lateral movement and axis tilt than when he posed in the magazines, and/or the standard script for S&T (as far as I understand it anyways).

I kind of feel bad for Plummer/Bennett (not financially, of course) because it seems like since Medicus has bought their marketing rights, the swing technique has been whored around a little bit. I saw an infomercial yesterday advertising some two handed putter, and they throw in the S&T DVD's...yikes. Probably not the direction that those two instructors had in mind for their intellectual property.

I believe that was just for the initial dvd's. The book was not Medicus related and I believe the new DVD's this year will not be attached to Medicus.

I thought Woods "grip problem" was not being strong or weak, but that the left was in the palm...as Haney talked about and showed on a Haney Project episode.

so whats the deal on Tigers grip?

I think everything under the sun has been discussed on this forum. But I'm really interested to know:
1. What WAS Brians problem with Tigers grip?
2. What does Richie think Tigers grip issues are and how would he change them?

thanks

Brian has discussed Tiger's grip under Haney being a problem for awhile now. I agree with Brian.

You agree with what? Changing Tiger's grip to what? crosshanded? baseball 10 finger, leftie? more in the fingers, less in the palm? v's pointing to his right shoulder? what's the grip for Tiger and how would you know? I thought he was underplane is his grip to blame? What's the answer to this grip problem? Richie you must have your own answer.
