As the day of the new site going up draws a little closer, I think that we should take straw poll on the questions that should be answered for anyone who comes to the new site without any background on me, or the site.

Here are a few to get us started:

Why do you teach clubface first on a slicer?

Why do you edit posts?

What do you think about "The Golfing Machine," "Stack & Tilt," "Morad," "1plane/2plane," etc.?

What is a book literalist?

What is "throwing the drunk off your back"?

How do you become a Manzella Academy Instructor?

.....give me some good ones....I'll try to include ALL of them in a new section of the new site.

A section for acronyms used by posters, such as "VSP - What does it stand for and what does it mean?", etc. Or, a brief description of key terms, such as "carry". There are many.

Too often I'm reading something and I have no clue about a particular acronym or term. Of course that's natural... see my tag line. :D

Why do I sometimes lose my balance and stumble face-forward after swinging my golf club?

How does body shape influence the golf swing?

What kind of physical workouts are recommended to properly control a golf swing?

Which scientific golf books do you recommend novice golfers read ... and study?

What is the yellow brick road?

Won't swinging left make my slice worse?

What does the Manzella swing look like?

If I decide to buy your videos, what is the order I should buy them in?

Can I learn from this site without having some kind of science background? I just wanna play better!

Let me answer this one ... NO ... If you are are a science ignoramus, you will not be able to play better ... UNLESS ... you get a personal lesson with somebody who professes to understand the science and can spoon-feed it into you in simplistic 'feel' or 'imagery' terms.

Seek help from a Manzella Academy Instructor.

Can you describe the golf swing on a frame by frame basis? What muscles are firing when and why? What is the purpose or downstream effect of each move that you deem to be essential to the swing.

What I'm getting at is a blow by blow analysis of the pivot specifically concerning the transition and the turning of the hips.

What you need for sure would be an explanation of your technical terms (carry, tumble etc.) and shortened forms of Tackman terms often used by posters (VSP, AoA etc). A very sexy and unique (until everybody copies it;)) facility would be a 30 second video link showing tumble, carry etc.

Basic questions of a newcomer:

What method do you teach, or are closest too?

Do you do seminars like other teachers?

I hear you are a good fixer. Can you fix me from a youtube video? What if I can't follow your instructions?

How much time do you spend online versus on the lesson range? (ie if I ask questions is there hope you will come by to answer them...)

Advanced golfer questions:

Please lay out a simple/full dplane explanation

Please indicate the best ways to efficiently supply power to impact the ball.

Talk about strong grips verus weak grips and the implications for various patterns.

Where should the head be in an orthodox swing? Is your position an opinion or science based?

Explain the kinetic chain with an example from an actual student/pro swing.

How much has the knowledge gained from Trackman influence your understanding of cause and effect?

Could you live without it in the 21st century?

If someone came to you and asked you how to become a worldclass instructor, what would you advise them to do?
