My daughter and her teamates played today and I had achance to follow and watch. I was shocked to see my girls game shes hitting her driver short so on approach shots she doeant have to use irons/wedges.
That will work on long par 4 or a par 5 if she gets on the green without using an iron/wedge.
But on a short par 4, like 280yds she has to use a iron/wedge on her approach shot.
It looks like she is so concerned to not it it fat she is using her hybrid on approach shots so she doeant have to use an iron/wedge and when she has to use a iron/wedge she is thinning her irons/wedges bad! I can blame the mats at the driving range (no grass) Im gonna take her to a grass driving range and work this out. :)

Went to the 3rd round of the individual girls golf CIF. 66 was the best score on a par 72 course, we had rain and wind. Tough conditions which makes the 66 dam good. Unfortunenately our 3 girls didnt make the cutline which was 76, our best player came close with a 79. Next stop team finals on thursday, no rain is expected, sunny is the weather forecast so conditions favor some low scores go saxons!

Well the season is over:( and our team came in last place in the first round of the CIF team competition. Only the top 3 teams move on the next round. The course was tough and my golfer was not in top form so it was scramble all 18 holes:mad:. and at the end of the round she was exhausted and glad it was over. I let her know I liked how no matter what happenned she seemed to not get down on herself or giving up on the round. She just hit find it hit again get on the green make her putts and lets get to the next tee. I think we will be back next year so we have some time to prepare and to recruite some new player due to we are losing some to graduation this year. 12 months goes fast so we must get on this recruit and practice asap!
