I just spoke with Charl and he thanked us all for our sincere, objective feedback.

And then he shot 62.
As an instructor I want to know all the what's, where's and whens.
What the golfer does with their swing is their business.:)

I can see it also, Kevin.

2011 Masters he's 1 back standing on the 15th tee and takes a TOTAL of 12 shots 4,2,3,3 to get in the house and win by 2. One of the best major finishes ever IMO

I'm sure Adam Scott see those same numbers when he's having a sleepless night.

Charl has a great looking swing but his ballstriking stats are just middle of the pack.He does have a hook tendency and i agree his trackman numbers might be a little too inside out.He says in an interview that he takes out the left side of the course by cupping his left wrist at the top.

Well, who ever amounted to anything trying to do that...?:)

I doubt Hogan would be 150th in GIR's which is where Charl is this year.

Stats often lie though I must admit. He might be an ultra aggressive player who fires at every pin rather than the middle of the green.

Right and as Kevin said, he's late and under...at TIMES, and a LITTLE BIT. Anyone reading this would not like to trade swings with him?

Gotta keep things in perspective.Even pro swings are not beyond critique otherwise non of them would be looking to improve.I would push my grandma in front of a bus to trade my swing with Charl.

I like Matteo Mannesero even better. His swing is incredibly accurate and I expect big things from him if his short game and temperament is up to scratch.I don't want to say his swing is like Hogan but it's closer to Hogan than Charl's is.
