First I would ask you how you know these came from the Tour Van. "Tour" and "Tour Van" are very over-used, suspect, hype terms. A lot slimy sellers of counterfeit clubs around.
I doubt that Taylormade invests in special molds to make upright driver heads (big bucks). You can't bend a Driver hosel very much without breaking it.
The lie angle of a Driver is not going have that much influence anyway. Plenty of guys on tour addressing the Driver with the heel soled. Matter of fact, I think Brian teaches that. I know Mike Jacobs has a video talking about Driver VSP being ideal at 46-47 degrees.
Wishon talks about OEM drivers having 60 degree lie angles and states that his Drivers
are 58. Shaft droop on longer Drivers is his explanation for needing higher lie angles than in the past.
