You mean "flexed" and "extended" ...???![]()
What are your questions?
Am I correct that the soft draw pattern is not contingent upon the downswing being on the EP (elbow plane) and/or a release where the arms and end of the clubshaft are close to the body?
I'm definitely going to see Kevin in the Spring for a lesson and my father wants a lesson as well.
My science is Newtonian Physics, and if you have a problem with that, go back to high school and college.
There is no "kinetic movement/motion" ... but there is "kinematic movement/motion" .... so you are wrong again ...
You want two better words??? .... try 'flinging' and 'slinging' or 'swinging' and 'hitting' ... and then I won't be able to criticize such vernacular ...
Btw ... there is no 'flexibility' in scientific terminology ... if you are not correct, you are ignorant .. and if you refuse to learn, you descend into stupidity ...![]()
Lessons are good ... but if you want to get full value for your money, you should book at least 10 lessons over 10 weeks ... because one lesson is somewhat superficial and limited. I mean, how much can you learn and retain after only one lesson ... not much I'd wager ....![]()
One two hour lesson is plenty. Maybe your position applies to someone who doesn't know how to play.
I think you can draw the ball well coming in on the TSP or the elbow plane. Just a personal preference as to which one to use and I suppose your left wrist action and corresponding clubface motion. Ive always felt a little weirded out on the elbow plane except maybe on a short shot or punching out of trouble.
Me too. I can't contort my body while bent over. My hands have more feeling than my body. I never had a good pivot driven baseball swing either. I can chop wood all day long (figuratively speaking).
SteveT, your point would be valid if someone says that they made a mid-swing correction due to feedback from their hands. Like Tiger used say that he "saved it" when he detected being stuck.

I am no fan of a hands controlled pivot style however there is real value in observing and creating certain hand actions. Like Brian's twistaway, wedding ring up, lay it on the movie screen.
Tiger "loses it" more often than he can save it because he's just taking a blind guess when he senses something is going wrong at the start of his golfswing. By the time he gets to shaft vertical in the downswing, it becomes ballistic and freewheeling .. and if you try to modify your actions with corrections, you are just taking a guess .. Tiger too.
Sure ... manipulate your forearms to create certain hand actions ... but understand it's NOT the "hands" because the hands are just along for the ride ...!!!!!
Why am I the only one who clearly understands all this stuff ...!!!!
I SURE HOPE THAT BRIAN'S ASSOCIATES ARE WRITING ALL THIS STUFF DOWN SO THEY AN DISCUSS IT AT THEIR SECRET PROJECT 1.68 MEETING WITH THEIR PHYSICIST FRIENDS ..!!!!
