The dowel on the floor, which I ASSUME is INTENDED to be the plane line, is bent. Why?

Is it just warped or is it NOT supposed to represent the plane line, and is bent for a reason, like being the player's visual guide for the clubhead path?

hahahah, sorry, Yoda mentioned on Chuck's site that it was warped from the swamp. I hope he got a new one.

The dowel was warped. It represents the Plane Line and is therefore supposed to be straight. Sorry for the confusion that this caused.

Cork, nj, jim:

I might be having problems with ball position. Stand to the Handle, all impact hand positions should be at the same point to allow for more forward leans and more centered ball position for shorter clubs. My ball position for shorter clubs could be too far back or my longer and mid irons too far forward

Bye

For me, when the ball is back in my stance for short irons, it increases the bend of my right wrist at impact fix and therefore at the top because to reach impact fix, the hands need to move further to the left, producing more bend. Likewise less with longer irons and woods.
