These are My Believes and I am Entitled to Them as much as You are Entitled to Yours.... I Guess this is your Forum and you can Delete My Believes and Ban Me if You wish.... I believe NSA is the Ideal Method/Pattern for ALL Golfers whether they Believe it or Not..... All the Rest is Show Business....:)

So you're saying that if David Toms came to you and said:

"Billy, I've been struggling with my ball striking. Here's what my swing looks like. Whaddya think?"

You would put him into the Never Slice Again pattern? Really?

I would Only Reinforce what He Already Does..... It is Impossible to Hit a Golf Ball Efficiently, Powerfully, and Straight without Some Form of CR(Counter Rotation) AKA TwistAway..... Again Most World Class Swingers do not Realize they are CounterRotating because this Twisting is Innate to them.... What they Visualize is that the ClubFace is Always pointing down the Target Line on the BackSwing.....Big Jack states in Golf My Way Somewhere "Always Point the face of the Club at the Target on the Way Back......" Have a Great Day With Your New Found Knowledge.....:)

Ps. Read Kevins Posts and Count how many times he says Twist etc when talking about the BackSwing.....

You are correct Billy!

You HAVE TO do it somewhere in the swing (before you hit the ball), or you need an VERY, VERY strong grip.

Good point Billy.

Here is a Real Hacker. This is the state of golf instruction today. Watch this YouTube video with the bogus line drawings to make the golfer think he is making improvement. If golf instructors would just work on the club face control (sweet spot balance) this golfer would improve immediately and not waste this golfers time and money.

In all fairness, I'd say that the instructor correctly identified what was wrong with the swing; outside in path and an open clubface. It seemed to me that he was trying to get him work on a better path and close the clubface...maybe just not as effective - whether on purpose or not.

All this instructor did was waste the golfer’s time and money telling him he was a slicer or in his lingo had an outside in down swing path with an open club face. The golfer knew he was a slicer that is why he came for a lesson. It is obvious the instructor did not know how to fix his slice and covered it up with a bogus 2-D video and a line drawing program. This is the norm in golf instruction. Just my take on it.

John.... Would you define this Concept in a Geometric Temporal way..... In Other Words Where in the Hell is the ClubFace Pointing Throughout the Arc of the BackSwing and Throughout the Arc of the DownSwing..... Have a Great Day with Your Quest....:)

Ps.. Please Don't Tell How Each of these Infinite Arc Temporal ClubFace Positions are Reached.... You Don't Wanna Piss AnyBody O*f......:)

With the 3-D research I have done on sweet spot balance there are two easy ways to keep it in balance and control the club face from the start of the swing to the finish. I will talk more about it when I get the testing done.

I can tell you this that the Hacker Swing I posted would benefit from Brian’s NSA video and it would be close to one of the two easy ways to do it.

100% agreement on NSA! :) Two easy ways to keep the sweet spot in balance and control from the start of the swing to the finish? WOW - that would be HUGE! (especially for me). Is this a method/instruction or a training aid? Any idea when you'll be posting this? Keep up the good work!

NSA GOLFERS LEARN THIS PATTERN!

Would you be able to tell us the other easy way?

To birdie man and all forum readers. I am still testing more data on the second way.

I mentioned that one of the ways is very close to the NSA video and to get a feel of one way the sweet spot swings in balance I would get this video and learn this pattern.

Also a 3/4 back swing with a flatter circular motion, sweep release and a very active pivot is very beneficial.

Agreed! (not with wedges though)

Unless I really take er back outside but then it is still pretty iffy.

Remove the twistaway or full roll (one or the other) from the pattern and I am still biased to the left side of the course but it is manageable.

And moreso manageable with JUST the full roll it seems.

(i.e. more "normal" amount of opening in the backswing, full roll downswing)

Love twistaway + open clubface at address for pitch shots!!

i guess i don't understand the argument for a method and/or ideal pattern.
if i use NSA, i hook the bejesus out of a wedge...let alone trying to get a driver airborne.

You could be using incorrect forearm rotation with the pattern. This will make it hook.

As John says You are Closing a Square Face on DownSwing by Rolling Your ForeArms...

Maximum TwistAway on way Back Squares the Clubface.... NO Manipulation(Rolling,Etc.) Allowed on the WayDown.... Just Square the Face on the BackSwing HOLD this Square Face on the Way Down and Hit the BGeeSus out of the GolfBall.... Also the GolfBall will Go DeadAss Straight.... It's Pretty Damn Easy.... Have a Great Day with Your New Found Knowledge......:)

Ps. The Method/Pattern Should be Called Hit the GolfBall Far and DeadAss Straight.....

I'm no golf instructor but I will say.....

"Arched" I think is very underused and very under-appreciated in the golf world.

I have nothing against it. Actually I am fond of it.

But if you think everyone (to play their best golf) today just needs to start doing solely this and that's 'it'...........you are a crazy man.

It has its place no doubt.......
