Out of nowhere I either hit a dead pull or a push slice that ruins my round

Your right shoulder STARTS the downswing by moving above the ball and you either keep going (pull) or try to get 'back under it' push slice.

Make your right shoulder go right at the ball. To some it FEELS like your are putting the right shoulder in your right pants pocket. If you do this and the ball goes to the right...make sure your left wrist is flat at the top and the WHOLE left arm rotates through the ball.

In response to your answer of right leg-straightening....maybe I'm a chick but "How do I crack my right nut?"....I mean besides having someone with leakage and a reverse pivot hit one two fairways over ...

Thx

FL-John

Sharp turn of your right hip WHILE YOU FEEL like you are push the hips to the right as much as you can without hip slide.

Either over-twist on takeaway, or over roll on the downswing, therefore hooks and left.....

Over learned Manzella 'Fix.'

Make sure your left thumb is under the club at the top and the clubface is OPEN at impact.

An overswing that means that the club is across the line causing me to be inconsistent and hit all manners of shots.

Potentially a reverse pivot AND a UNDER ROTATED left arm. (or either)

Fell like your right shoulder never gets any higher on the backswing and your left thum is pointing BEHIND your head.

left pointing divot. (in other words: pull slice, straight block etc..)

Cupped left wrist at the top.

Flatten your left wrist and hit the INSIDE AFT of the ball by way of your right shoulder going toward the ball and your tailbone moving toward the target.

Push fade right or hugely swinging hooks.

Swinging TOO inside-out.

Build a towel plane board. Don't hit it. Swing left as you can...BUT make sure the ball sees your belt buckle THEN your hands THEN a slightly open clubface. Don't straighten your right wrist through impact.

A swing with a ball present that looks and feels nothing like the practice swings.

The clubface is pointing NOWHERE NEAR the target at what would be separation during the practice swing.

Fix the clubface.

High hooks with my short irons.

Ball is too far forward...or shaft is too stiff...or right wrist flattens too soon...or the hands 'beat' the hips to the ball..or any combination.

Hit cut bunker shots...then hit cut wedge fairway shots the same way (just not fat). If the ball goes TOO FAR to the right, do less of it.

Need to go give a 4,5,6& 7....will answer the rest by tommorrow morning....these are great questions...this may turn into a video...

Difficult to provide a current swing fault, probably have at one time or another, had them all.
However being a swinger and a reverse C'er, I have always had something less than a straight forward leg at impact, sometimes not even at waist high on follow through?

Losing accumulator lag just before delivery position when I had tons of it.

No courage.

Learn to swivel with a slightly arched wrist.
Is the idea behind this to get used to having more right wrist bend at impact ? As I see it being braver would mean that you have a lower trail shoulder and more trail arm and trail wrist bend at impact. I will take your advice and work on it. Thanks.

I can't seem to get the ball up quickly enough out of a fairway bunker and still obtain respectable distance with the club in hand.
