Quote from Brian regarding this "fit in move":

A late "Fit-in" move. You came over the top, or very steep, and you can't re-route and stand up fast enough. Fat.

So this is what I'm doing? If so, I think it's from me trying to correct my path. My mission this summer was to start swinging more left and trying to get over top of it more. That's the only way I can reason with this new swing/results.

Ok, so maybe a little LCT, hands in so NO popout, shaft more parallel to to target (not laid off and not ATL)? Thanks again

PS Hands around the turned shoulder plane?

Something goofy? Let me check my Magic 8-ball........"Signs point to yes" :)

The rotation? I try to not rotate my left forearm much but right now I'm trying to do so many things they all run together. I remember some I forget some.

I'm definitely going to work on my posture, backswing, and that darn right foot, STARTING TODAY!

Thanks to everyone that offered advice. I may not have responded or said thanks to everyone, but I truly appreciate your help.

Is the high hands in response to the grip (or some other) change? Possibly, he experiments too much?

..Edited to get rid of false info

I'll respond to just get some facts straight. I've never seen Brian but I did work with Jim last summer for a few hours. I think the high hands come from really trying not to get flat and rotate my left forearm too much. And yes, I experiment too much. Now I've realized to find something good and stick with it. I can't even get back to where Jim had me going, which was on the right track. But I'll figure it out, lots of good info here.

Well, I tried the "hands in no popout" but didn't fix the shankaroo's. Hit some bomb drives but most of my irons were shanks. Hit 1 gorgeous PW but that was it. Honestly have been thinking about giving the game up but I'm too damn stubborn. I'm going back to little pitch shots, focusing on dragging the sweetspot to the ball. From there I'll just go back a little further until a full swing I guess.

Did you get it on video? My guess is the backswing still wasn't quite right. It can take a little while to fix.

I remember an article by Claude Harmon . the senior Harmon I think , that said shanks are really from a closed clubface. It said something like ,golfers try to not open face the hosel into the ball and are over the top and in an effort to prevent this they close the face and drive the hosel into the ball. Perhaps you are doing something like that thinking you are helping but actually making it worse. Your, flip, video might be showing this. You might have got your sweet spot lagging a little early. Anyway ,far too good looking a swing to have that many pitch outs. Good luck!!
