Love the NSA/SD combo as well as the chicken wing tip!

Don't agree with the too much info comments. If anything it demonstrated your wealth of knowledge regarding a subject that many instructors try to over simplify.

A sure lock for the final four.

Nah, tape the thing, take notes. Golf Channel tips are shown more than once.

I agree, lots of great info and people will want to watch more than a few times to get all the info.

The video will encourage people to stay tuned for more manzella!

Nice work brian!

To imagine the difficulty of what Brian did, think of how many times it takes to
get your voice mail recording just the way you want it.

A very high percentage of the contestants have little to no experience producing
instructional videos. Clement does, Brian does, and it really shows. There was a
bunch of different topics, but they flowly logically toward solving the issue stated
at the beginning.

sticky!!!!!

i personally would like to see this video as a sticky here on the site

it answers lots of questions. Good stuff Brian,

No doubt abut it, Brian and Shawn, together, should do a show. Would be a perfect balance of everything on the subject of the golf swing.

Haha! "Call this little triangle what you like...". Anyway, nobody has ever visualised Kelley's wedge like you... It shows so much to the viewer.

It's a lot of information in this video and I think it's ok nowadays when almost everyone can watch a vid over and over again on YouTube or recorded on your DVD/HDD. Twenty years ago it would be too much info in 8 minutes.

Brilliant.

Professional.

Useful.

Lots of information in the long video but, in my view, necessary to show the producers that BM has developed a complete diagnosis and prescription for the biggest amateur problem. Easy enough to imagine a five or six episode series based on this material alone. He has shown his chops and done it in his unique and engaging style.

Got to win

I really liked the way you come across to the camera, it fealt like you were talking right to me!
I really like the swing tip... could you put that up as a clip by itself?
good luck I really hope you get the job and have to move to Orlando (closer to me :D)

I think the information and how it is presented is head and shoulders above almost all the other videos entered thus far. Well done and good luck.

Good luck Brian. I think that you explain why people slice better than anyone else I have ever heard or read. I hope you get the chance to bring your knowledge to the G.C

Finally!! I was beginning to wonder if you were interested.

Great job! Looks professional. You come across just right.

Awesome job Brian. Great info and to the point. Hope that it is what the powers that be in Orlando are looking for.

I actually think the 8 minute length for the main segment of the contest is designed to see if the presenter can hold the attention of the audience through a typical span between commercials if the instructor was to do a 30-minute show.

I wonder how much weight youtube video views hold in the contest?

Brian has to have more than all the other instructors combined.

I have to side in with Ringer regarding the amount of info. in the first video.

Manzella-ites will grasp it quickly as the material is familiar. Regretfully, I think the golfer watching the Golf Channel will be lost.

The second short video, about the "front arm" chicken wing, was great. Learning a lot about one thing is better than learning a little about 5-6 things. I think Michael Breed already does too much of that.

I also agree about the spots on the trousers where you apparently sat in water or leaned up against something wet; it would be better if they weren't there.

You, your videos, your forum has done well for a lot of us out here....

Now, we all want ya to do well on the GC.

Well done Brian. Lots of information in an 8min clip, but no sense that you'd be running out of steam over 30 mins. ;) And I'm sure that if this lands you the gig then big bucks production values will have a continuity guy on hand with a big pile of identical, freshly laundered, trousers.

Good information - bang on point for what I'm sure would be the audience. Information overload? I'm not sure I agree. I don't have NSA and haven't made a real point of digging out the anti-slice material on here - but I felt like I followed the gist of what you were saying just fine. Would I get more out of watching it a second time? Probably. Is that a bad thing?

Top 4 for a pilot? Fingers crossed.

The average slicer has no idea what the clubface does during the swing. An explanation of what the clubface is supposed to do at all parts of the swing should be included. A simple " the clubface is square at address, opens on the backswing, squares at impact and closes right after impact" would set up the video better of what you are trying to achieve. I agree with the other poster that you may lose the non Manzella forum golfers. You touch on it but does not come thru completely on the video.
