I have Brian's release video and since recovering from a mild herniation of my L5S1 (no surgery just PT thankfully) have been able to practice a little using the coupling point concept. Let me just say that I hit some of the best drives of my life Thursday. I set up w/ some axis tilt, made a decent turn, did the out toss back and away from the target line, then just felt like I was kinda throwing the club back up the plane w/ a no roll feeling. Much easier on my back compared to more rotary patterns.
While I did hit a few fat long irons, I also happened to hit the best 5 iron Ive hit in ages, probably 190 yards, slight draw, and freaking effortless.
I have 2 questions, 1) any tips to help w/ fatting the longer irons and 2) any suggestions that might help w/ pulling the short irons? Maybe work on tumbling down to a more verticle left arm for better path?
I saw where some bloke had some crap to say online about the "death of the toss out" apparently had an axe to grind w/ Brian for some reason, but any way are you guys still using the out toss if needed, and what is the karate chop?
thanks,
Fan
