I really do not know what to think on this. On the surface I see no reason why someone with average ability in terms of hand eye coordination should be able to get to a level where they can break 90 pretty easily. For example if you can hit a baseball that is pitched to you then you are of average talent in my opinion.

Then I go to the course and see people who are seemingly incapable of learning anything after the age of 20. Either they maxed out athletically in middle school or they are too stubborn to listen or they really are incapable of learning.

All I can tell the person who practices for hours on end and does not improve is they are either practicing the wrong things or they need to take up checkers. Not trying to be rude with that second one. Just trying to illustrate the importance of understanding along with practice.

Brian an Open Letter a free lesson

Howard,

I am going to give you a free half-hour lesson at my next Florida tour stop.

Brian

Let me say that I appreciate and accept your offer for a half hour lesson

With my physical issues the journey to playing well has been rocky at best

I am sure that if anyone can help it would be you, BUT....with respect i ask for it to be on my terms.

Laura and I will be going to Portland to see her sister this spring....I asked Laura if she was ok with a stop

in New Orleans.....she said it would be great. SO.....here is what I would like to happen...We will plan

our trip to Portland at the time you are in New Orleans.....we will stop.....i will have my " half-hour free lesson"

AFTER....repeat....After.... i have a 1 hour lesson..that i will pay for....THEN....your gracious offer will be accepted

Then after our lesson I can take Laura and have a wonderful cajun dinner...and fly to Portland the next day.

I thank you again...very generous of you. Hello to Lisa

Howard
