As they'd say in the French quarter closer to Brian's side of town, "quelle surprise". Lol. That's some OG shit right there between the two of those guys. Uh huh.

Kevin,

Two questions:

1. Would "Keep the (back of the ) left hand on top of the right hand" produce the same move as "curling the right hand and arm under?"

2. Is there a drawback to "automating" this move in the backswing so that it doesn't have to be done later in the swing?

Thanks.

Yes, and still can be done with a no pop out backswing! Hands in, arms twist. Rickie's hands in, arms reverse twisted. DJ's hands out, arms twisted. Tiger under Hank was pretty on-line, ironically enough. Anyways...

Put a ball on a side hill about waist high and have someone swing to normal top of swing position. The ask them to hit that ball. You will see negative tumble in action even from average players. That is the side on component. If I could do it all over again I'd teach every new players that component way before the vertical one

How else can you be so across and still hit the ball so good?

Reverse tumble and other parochial language

Carry and drop

Super vertical hand path

Early and a lot of reverse tumble

Prolonged second stage tumble

Normal

Big leftward HSP if we could get an algorithm that could take account for the gear effect. He couldn't try to hit the sweet spot or he'd shank. We still barely know his name. Well, those of us who love this game do.
