Go get em Brian.

I have been working on this tip the past few days. Funny it came up now with Tiger.

I've been trying to turn my left shoulder inside sharply...keeping it on a tighter arc. Hand path more inside. Less LCT.

Will see what the less LCT will do for me...tomorrey. (if the weather picks up)

Early stages of research. (glad it is Manzella-Approved though)

I was on the Shot tracker, Tiger Woods almost did no miss any fairways on the Players Champion!!!

Watch the round though. I bet he was very tired mentally after today's round. Had a lot of iffy tee shots and didn't use driver much. Like the 7th--5 wood 180yd. fat off the tee, 5 wood from the fairway 240yds over the green, chip and a put---par.

I'm surprised he has stuck with Hank this long. How much knowledge can an instructor teach a student in what 7 years?

I think it would be great if Brian became Tigers new instructor. He could certainly help him dig it out of the dirt if that is what Tiger is looking for.

Realism...

Folks,

Imagine if you would that you had an samll oil well, in a boggy area in Texas.

You made your money from it, not a whole bunch, but a really good living.

You did 90% of the work yourself.

The well leaked into the pond all the time, and you learned over the nearly 30 years you owned the well, how to clean up the oil from the pond.

It was UNLIKE anything most experts would use, but it worked like a charm.

You are watching the oil spill in the gulf, watching them struggle, and knowing you could help a lot.

That's me and Tiger.

Look, I realize Tiger isn't coming to me for lessons anytime soon, but, I also know I could help.

This thread has run its course.

Tiger didn't even do what Pat Perex had him doing yesterday.

TIGER NEEDS TO STRENGTHEN HIS GRIP FIRST.

He doesn't need to stand on his left leg.

Geez...

Is this 80% of the weight on the left foot????????

Hell no.

I was worried Tiger might try some of that advice as part of instruction from Foley. That's what worried me!

Not worried at all that Foley's instruction would challenge yours Brian. Lol... :D

I'm not sure about JH's info, but Tiger hit 9/14 fairways, and that short drive on the 7th may have been one of the 9 hit.

When you are Tiger's swing coach you are on call 24/7. Tiger did not like it when Butch was working with other players and Hank basically dropped his tour players when he started working with Tiger. Would Foley drop Ames, O'Hair, Mahan, and others to work with Tiger? YES

Did you see the Snead pic?

Shift your weight in 2 hundredths of a second?

Didn't he mean 2 tenths??

I know it can be considered picky-uny, but being off by a factor of ten just shows....that......well.....never mind. :)

....he needed to STOP that stupid, driver-yip-causing, time to look at the brim of the hat, Haney backswing!!!!

I just couldn't take it anymore.

Also, kudos for Johnny Miller calling out Haney. Geez, I heard the GC panel were slobbering all over themselves defending Haney.

Play good Tiger!

That was funny!

Good for Miller. He'll take some heat internally on that one, but well said.

I know and respect a guy who knows HH pretty well and has a lot of good things to say about what he's seen him do with students over the years.

While I trust my buddies judgement, it's like telling me the Moon is made of cheese... The stuff I've seen with Barkley, Romano and well..Tiger is killing me. I thought Tiger's swing was dead after the British last year. I'd love to hear what those two talk about.

Is Tiger blaming himself and not HH?

As he should. Much easier for the player to change his coach than for the coach to change the player.

If Tiger sticks it out with Haney then maybe he knows something we don't. Or Hank does. Actually, both are probably true.

Whatever you think of HH, I hope that if Tiger does go elsewhere he continues to shoulder the largest part of the credit and blame for how he plays.

Brian,
According to the inventor of Weight Right Force Plates. PGA Tour average at impact is:

62% of their weight on their left side.
