He's in a perpetual state of transition..... Harmon... Haney... Foley... next, Manzella, and the full scientific monty... ya think...??!!!!

If he wins on Sunday, everyone will say "I told you so."

Half the world would love to be +3 after 54 driving up Magnolia Lane.

His golf swing don't talk, it swears.

If he had putted even half decent he would be up there close to the top of the leaderboard even with those bad swings. I dont buy the intimidation factor, Tiger was simply that good, if someone challenged his lead he would just step back on the gas and pull away. And where are all these so called bunch of talented young players, so far tiger has won more majors than all of them put together. If tiger gets a sniff of his old form today i can quite easily see him win this.

Love it that Curtis bumps this thread evey year! :)

Fitting that Tiger would look "lost as an Easter Egg" this time of year.

I remember how I'd written him off totally along with his intimidation factor until suddenly and without warning he dominates at Bay Hill. I considered myself a golf idiot and assumed that Tiger might indeed lap the field this week. Again - I'm the golf idiot!! Of course Rory showed himself to be a complete tease as well.

Wonder how Foley must have felt Friday pm as he stood at the range waiting for Tiger to sign his card and do his interviews. Now THAT'S PRESSURE!!!

Nothing like the 2-way miss combined with a balky putter!

He's got the best pump-fake in golf.

4th at 2010 Masters = he's on his way back, he's gonna show everyone this that and the other...

4th at 2011 Masters = he's now really on his way back, he's really gonna show everyone this that and the other...

2012 Masters = he's back now for real, now he's really, really gonna show everyone this that and the other...

Make him show you he can still hit the jumper (or at least hit the rim) before you go biting on the pump fake.

Did I last year? Funny if I did. I've been away for a LONG time and just came back. Looked at some of my old posts and found it.

I was totally ready to give the game up .....guess not. Looks like BManz has been busy.

Anyways, I don't think we will ever see "Tiger" again. Yesterday during his interview he just looked different. "Old" or something. Bags under his eyes, tired, stressed, you name it. Half the time I feel sorry for him and the other half it's hard to root for him. I still think the game needs him but I just don't see it happening. I don't think his mind will ever forget the past.

Curtis - I was thinking the same thing. Looked like he'd just gone 3 rounds with Tyson. I give him credit for doing the post-round stuff each day this week just after coming off the course and not acting like a jackass. Even today I had to side with him when he was asked another inane question about his performance at Augusta this year and something about "was he disappointed?". He sucked it up and gave the obvious answer but did it without the condescending tone (although he had every right to). :)

Speaking of the interviews. I hate the questions that all the sideline reporters ask. Craig Sager etc. But I thought Tom Rinaldi did a very good job in how he phrased his questions this week.

Two things Tiger needs to do.

1. Tiger needs to don a Darth Vader helmet and play like that. Who is he trying to fool with his smug smile anymore? Embrace the dark side tiger that has always been you.

2. He clearly found the psychological nirvana of playing in the zone by having a bevy of bimbos at his beck and call

Gonna sound crazy and it's been a long time since I was a member of Olympic Club but Tiger can hit stingers and 3 woods off a lot of tees at Olympic. That course sets up pretty nicely for a fader and if Tiger plays like he did at Bay Hill he'll contend at the US Open, and just might win it. I know, crazy.

Maybe he needs two coaches. Brian for golf, and Charlie Sheen for post-golf.
