Sounds like you're using "punch" to describe trajectory. As I understand it, the Punch shot as taught by Ben refers primarily to the length of the backswing, which would be about half-way between a pitch (left arm parallel to the ground) and a full swing. As MJ posted, the Punch can stop at follow-through or you can use a Finish Swivel.
Moving the ball back in the stance will generally give a lower trajectory for any procedure -- chip, pitch, punch or full swing.
