Right Shoulder Down, Out, And Around.....

Thank you green free....as I said I am totally self taught. I am a former pro volleyball player and sports have always come a little easy for me. I hit balls every single day and I am willing to put in the work to see where I can go. I just feel that to get better....which means + handicap....I need an expert teacher. Maybe Brian will take me as his guinea pig....LOL.

Ok....

More hip slide and steeper shoulders going back.

Get the weight OFF OF THE LEFT FOOT early, but move the head VERY LITTLE.

On the DS, you need more carry, and that'll do it!

Carry is Manzella terminology. Use Search feature, or better yet, buy downloadable video. Think it's in Never Hook Again video along with "Shake the Sugar" Manzella-ism.

Hi Brian....thank you for your reply and information. I will look into your recommendations and use them asap. May I please ask...what am I doing that is correct at this point? What moves or dynamics am I using that are good...or put another way....are usually difficult for the beginning or average golfer?

Is "everything" considered an adequate answer? :) You have an awesome swing man.

Take it from a guy who has been on the forum for a while, and plays professionally: listen to and implement his advice, and don't tinker with ANYTHING else. It's easy to fool around with other different advice, but Brian has you pegged. Don't input too much swing information and forget how to "do it".

Thank you Holeout....extremely kind words. I will definitely go with what Brian has said. I came to this forum because of the good reputation it has earned. I was started in golf by a friend thats a pretty good player. He told me from day 1 it is all about pitching, chipping and putting. I spend time every day....7 days a week....on the little shots. I have been to a Tour event and everyone hits it 280-300+....but no one cares. Its about the work on and around the greens. Thus, I have at least started off on the right foot as far as learning what really matters when it comes to scoring. He once told me...you can block your driver 30 yards to the right....hit your 5 iron 20 feet right of the green...but wedge it to 3 feet and make the putt. Its still a 4....and no one gives a shit how you made it.

So, if you have never had a lesson, your full swing just needs a couple of modifications, and you practice short game 7 days a week consider this.

You first actual lessons might need to be on pitching, chipping, and putting.
