Ryder Cup Prediction

If Woods has a winning record and the rookies spilt or better...

USA wins.

Simple as that.

Those putts that Colin keeps making in these Ryder Cups, HAVE TO start missing.

Maybe, this will be the year that the EUROs stink it up.

But:

If Woods has a winning record and the rookies spilt or better...

AND!!!

I think they will, so USA.

Toms' Pairing

Hey Brian,
What do you think of David's pairing with Brett Wetterich for tomorrow mornings matches?

Jim S.

Europe will kick ass, because we have the best players and they are all on good form!

Karlsson & Stenson are going to be paried together and they will be unbeatable!

You are high.

(All the best players?)

Ryder cup

If all goes as planned, and my wins continue to keep adding up. Biggest margin of win on Euro soil . Another BIG win. Team USA just are not team players. If only they knew how to smile. It showed again you can't put on fake fronts.

....and I'm European

Harrington/Montgomerie - Woods/Furyk ...........4/3 USA
Karlsson/Casey - Cink/Henry............8/7 EU
Garcia/Olazabal - Wetterich/Toms...........1-0 USA
Westwood/Clarke - Michelson/DiMarco.......3/2 USA

USA 3-1 EU

Just like the wildcard for Westwood, these parrings (except Karlsson/Casey) is based on old results. Donald and Howell on the bench. Woosy's been drinking......
Only thing that can save the europeans is that Monty makes miracles again.

I think with the tabloids has really upset Tiger. I think he will use that’s as more motivation to want to win and when the rest of his teammates see his intensity it will fire them up.

Brian,

Are average world ranking is number 23, yours is number 29, so we have more better players than you.

So no im not high!

Woods and mickleson are *miles* ahead of *any* of those players playing, and Furyk and Dimarco are great Match players. If those guys perform USA wins.
As for the rest the Europeans are stronger.
It is close on paper.
I heard there is going to be lift and place... well what a waste of time if this is the case. :(

Don't know why Donald is on the bench. Strange, maybe he's not feeling well or having problems with his game?

USA have missed that Corey Pavin in recent years, chipping in from all over the place! I'll never forget that time he *robbed* Greg of the US open with his scuffed wood from 200 yards! :D
As for Montgomerie his putting has always been his weakness. The Euros have owned the Americans tee to green in recent ryder cups. ;)

I think most people forget that after pavin hit that shot to 18 to 'rob' Norman, he then missed the putt. So, the shot really didn't matter.

Hi Tom,
I just felt the way it died on the semi rough in front of the green as I recall Instead of going in the thick rough at front or back. (The green was well fast)
For me, it was the flukiest shot I've ever seen. And poor old Greg was on the end of it again. I was totally gutted. :( . Still I'm no expert.
Danny.

The US is playing behind way too much

68 holes led by Europe

53 holes all square

23 holes led by the US

The US is going to have to get in the lead earlier in the matches and quit having to rally so hard late to scratch out halves. Halves won't get it done.

Europe 5 - 3 USA and a long way to go :-
Even if the results follow suit tomorrow and end up Euro 10 - 6 USA
Speaking as a European 4 points isn't much going into the singles.
Europe may well "gel" in the team events (war spirit) but USA rule the singles.
It's going to be close !!

Let the euro's have the ryder cup and we'll take down the majors.
So what you're saying is "forget about the US, let's root for a handful of individuals who play for themselves and for money". I doubt a signigicant buy-in on that.

Europe 7 1/2 - US 3 1/2 for the moment.

All Euros have played and everyone has contributed to at least half a point. Not all US players have played and not all of them have brought home points.
