I don't want this to get stupid. It is not about me and you, it's about the OPs question and questions revolving around that. Sense you asked. I started playing golf in November, although some idiots here like to say I'm full of it. Lately, I have been shooting in the 80's, depending on where I play and from what tees. My lowest round is 75 and my lowest round for 9 is 37. Ill get alot better.

On the issue. Its really hard to say what is the "cure for the best player the world has ever seen. This is why I said you and I cannot say what is "wrong" with his swing, or "help" him. There are alot of things that go into this and I think unless you work with Tiger exclusively 1on1 you can't help him, or diagnose his issues. Golf is hard and it is easy to sit back and be an armchair quarterback. I stand by what I have said earlier.

Your first round of golf was in March 09 wasn't it? If i remember right that's what you said. So your actually improving faster than you thought, congrats.:D

Ok. Sorry for me being too overbearing or overzealous. I took your rhythm comment too literally. I apologize and I'll try and do better.

it's all good man, do not worry about overbearing and overzealous, cause I am too. Hell. that is why message boards were invented.

But I never said anything about "rhythm":D

Started learning in November though. The "basics", if you know what I mean.

Anyhoo. Swing change or not, different coach or not, different pattern or not. We are watching greatness people. The best of the best and it's hard to say which pattern is better. That's how good this guy is. He just makes it work.

Thanks.:)

I thought he played o.k. I see what Brian is saying with his swing. Did it seem to anyone today that he made alot of bad decisions and do you think that was due to the fact that he isn't getting everything that he should out of his swing?

I don't really see NHA other than a yellow brick road type downswing sequence. Not NHA backswing though.

Choked today.

.

I do not think the words choke and Tiger go together.

The guy played good, the other guy played a little better. Tiger played a little defensive on the front waiting the field out. On the closing holes he drove the ball well and hit the ball well. What I saw on the closing holes was a few shots that didnt cut when he wanted. This in no way is a choke.

What Paddy did the last two weekends, now there is a choke, blowup, whatever you want to call it.

I saw some misses left, and some slight loss of distance control on a few. I thought he hit the ball well, but played a little on defense which is very un-tiger like.
I look forward to seeing him workin it out and crushing the next field he plays in.

Y.E. Yang! Y.E. Yang! Y.E. Yang!

Love this guy now.

Not big on the C word. (Choke)

I couldn't help but see Yang having that little second cut lie and having to loft it over the tree and think:

"D-Plane!"

Nice little SD. (I think it must've drew a little)

Paddy. :(

Game is not ready to stand up to real high pressure right now perhaps. Did pretty well the past few tourneys though, despite a few boners.

He'll be back!! (he's smart)

Ya I'm not really sure. I just assumed SD I guess.

Swing looks great from DTL.

Anyone got a Yang-Vision Face-On?

Good ol' Y.E. Yang.

Y.E. Yang outplayed Tiger today and deserved to win. He showed excellent composure. Great shot on 18. Good for him.

Tiger counted on rolling in some long putts to win after laying back off the tee, and he didn't do it. Tiger doesn't choke, but he knows he doesn't know where the driver is going, especially when the wind is left-to-right. And just like Nicklaus, Tiger has, in recent years, started to pile up his second places in majors to go along with the wins...
