After a couple years of trying to bash balls with downward force and a FLW/BRW, I've realized some merit in putting the pull forward in my stance and the feel of releasing upwards. Physics still dictates that the clubhead hits the ball, but I feel like having somewhere to go with the clubhead (instead of down to China) makes it all come through faster and cleaner. This is all coming from a guy who lives chronically underplane and usually has his hips wayyy out front and hands wayyy behind at impact.
Is this legit or should I lay off the model airplane glue?
