I stumbled on TGM by chance on the GolfOpinions website when I came across Chuck Evans who was the moderator there. The only reason I logged on was to check how my tour issue clubs were selling as my playing partner would advertise my clubs there. Had it not been for this I would have not come across TGM yet as I have yet to see it on the TV and golf mags and that is sad because I feel there is a big demand for it and the golfing public has not heard of it. I wish I had come across the Ben Doyle tape years ago that would have saved me a ton of effort and heartache but if it were not for forums like these I would have never have heard of it. It seems to me that the TGM instructors that do become famous don't mention their background in TGM much. Why ? It seems to me from reading posts of Mac O' Grady that much of his understanding of the golf swing is from TGM yet he says about 25% of it is wrong. Why is it that these guys are taking from the source and not putting anything back? Why is there not a big effort to put TGM on the golfing map? Is it going to continue to be like this ? The only mention I have seen referred to of TGM being mentioned on TV is of Butch Harmon saying that he did not understand it and you would need to have a degree from MIT to get your head around it. There is no question that the book is hard work and at first I found it very off putting but with posts by Brian , Chuck Evans and others I am beginning to get a feel for it. There is no question it has helped my game and totally changed the way I now look at golf although there is much I need to learn. Are there plans to advertise TGM and to make TGM more accessible to the golfing public? What is the future of TGM?
