Every lesson I give I pass on information that is biased towards what the student needs to hear. Therefore I am always twisting thing to get them to do it somehow.

Is it perfect science? No. It is what they need to hear.

It is therefore impossible to read to see a teachng giving a lesson a quote them without understanding why they said something. Otherwise we are just quoting them out of context.

He needs to understand what a "Dynamic Impact Compression Alignment" feels like. With that set up and posture he has no chance he will only continue to swipe across the ball.
