Wow that's RIGHT cool....

Nike knows how to do it up too eh.....the friggen opera music playing lol....

Thanks for posting that.

Geez..any ideas on why he cannot drive it straight...you'd figure they'd straighten it out by now!!!

Soon he'll be catchin' the Driver yips from his coach...

Those things are contagious you know!!!!

Tiger and haney.

It looks better than I thought, but...

Don't like the right arm so low at the top, rather it above the left from the front view.

Something funny about the backswing pivot, & he could swing much left-er.

I will make a movie of it when I get back from the ATL.

For all the talk of Tigers speed coming from his hips/rotation, it seems as if he has an awful lot of arm swing compared to body motion during the downswing. Does anyone else see this?

He doesn't.

So Tiger hits up with his driver...or is he just hitting up here?

...oh and what causes the right arm to be so visible beneath the left at the end or top of the backswing? What flaws might it possibly cause?

I remember Brian saying that he hasn't seen any tour players with the clubface toe up when the clubshaft is parallel to the ground during release. What does this video show Brian?

=============================

I can see Tiger trying incorporate Hogan into his swing.

If you do a complete backswing pivot until you feel the 'stretch' running from your left foot, up your leg, your hip, your left side, your left shoulder, out through your left arm....you will be able to relate how the pivot DOES pull the clubhead - like an extremely strong bungee cord. I noted how there was no IMPULSIVE movement in Tiger's hip motion, but how IT was synchronous with the entire swing motion from startdown until after FT. "THE HIPS PULL THE CLUBHEAD!"

That smoothness and connection is visually very powerful and convincing.

Lets remember guys,

Don't forget the fact that this is a studio swing with no intention of splitting a fairway or driving a green. I read somewhere else (maybe Lynn's) not to over analyze swing sequences published in mags.
