Here's a question for you guys.

Do you think Tiger is swinging differently deliberately, or just because he's under pressure?

I think Tiger KNOWS he's swinging differently on the course. But in my opinion, I think he also knows that if he tries to "tame the Tiger" (better tempo, etc.) on the course, he will hit worse shots. More to do with mentality than technique. In this twisted sort of way, you can say Tiger is doing this deliberately.

Anyone have any ideas how to download/save a copy of this file?

i just noticed a "PODCAST" link in the lower left of the main page...click it and you can download mp4 files of the the front and side views from the main page and of the "TV SPOT" combo...you'll need some player software that can view mp4's (eg quicktime)...check out the side view, does that clubface look closed thru impact to anybody else?...also how low he has it teed up here, compared to a lot of what you see on tv, curious...

depending on camera angle, probably.

I will go with ever so slightly open AT impact and holds this position into separation when viewing the "TV spot". This is one of the first clips I've seen where Tiger's clubface appears to be level to upward at impact and upward at point of separation.

td,
i'm guessing you mean exactly where they had the camera set up making the difference but i was more thinking of when they had it set up...ie it looks to me that this is likely not one swing caught at different angles, but different swings caught at different angles...it looks to me like the front and side views are different and not in sync and i even wonder if the clubface close up is electronically zoomed in from the same swing as the front view or is from a swing with the camera zoomed in on the ball?...i got the same feeling for the clubface as you described for the close up, but thought the face looks slightly closed and maybe still going a little down at impact in the side view...why does it matter?...doesn't really, except if i'm right it shows how hard it is to reproduce your swing every time, even when you have "the greatest swing of our generation" and reinforces how important alignments are...guess i better go practice!:)

Tiger's Acceleration Rate is different on the Range than the course...On the range it's more like a slower steady rate...on course it is more ballistic or explosive..this affects the his timing of his release interval....late versus early

Your host, the Italian Stallion, NEVER says ANYTHING that stupid.

now as far as Leo's comment....I never said NEVER.

Heck, MY TOE is in that position when I am hitting a fade.

YOU CALLING ME STUPID??????????????????????????????????????????????

Yeah I am. I've bought over 100 bucks worth of videos and it's guys like me that keep him in business. Would like to honestly know if he's calling me stupid. I think my question was very valid. You see tips that say to put 2 shafts in the ground to keep you from too much lateral movement. If you put these shafts on Tiger he would slam right into the tartet side shaft. Maybe a dumb question to most but not to me. And I really don't feel like being called stupid.

PS

Was also seriously thinking about going over to Chicago for some lessons. That puts 500 bucks in Brian's pocket. I don't think Donald Trump would turn down 500 bucks. Do you think I want to give someone 500 bucks when they call me stupid? I'll let you answer that one. It's all about respect. I sell 401k plans to businesses, I give respect and expect the same back to me. You want my business?.......... you show me.

curtisj76, I am sure Brian wasn't saying you're studpid. He is saying that he never says anything that stupid. But you saying it doesn't make you stupid because you are not Brian Manzella (that is you don't have his 20+ years of experience fixing people on the range and in-depth study into the golf swing).
