Wow what a win especially in Jack place what a shot from the rough and to birdie the last hole vintage Tiger. I wonder if Bmanz will do a video on that shot from the rough?

So Foley apparently breaks Tiger's driver in 2 on Thursday morning so he has to use something else off the tee all week. Then he holes out on 16 from nowhere using a shot that was pure instinct...... absolutely NOTHING mechanical and Foley-like there....it was pure natural Tiger instinct.

Can he keep doing that? We'll see. Tiger sucks when he plays golf swing yet he has a hard time not doing it with his obsession with swing coaches.

Foley's player Tiger Woods has two wins, and many, like noted swing experts Colin Cowherd and the Big Dicodacentury, said he was DONE with Foley on board.

I know for a fact that they do NOT sit pat with things that don't work, and believe that they will eventually figure it out.

This win is a great thing for golf, especially when it is obvious that McIllory and Fowler just aren't ready for a crown.

Never said he was done with Foley..... Tiger is simply too proud. Foley somehow got him to use the same strategy Hank had him use at the Open in 2006.....keep the driver in the bag cause he drives it awful. All strategy.....why he doesn't use it more often is beyond me.

Foley had NOTHING TO DO with his hole out on 16 which essentially won him the tournament. That was all authentic Tiger. Too bad he can't figure that out.

Talk about "damned if you do, damned if you don't". If Tiger went south for good (impossible) IMO, it was Foley's fault. If he wins big again, it's just Tiger talent! Lotta heat in that Tiger kitchen but Foley knew it going in. Where are the naysayers now? Anyone who typed he would never win again, should have their keyboard revoked.

So, you actually believe Sean had nothing to do with Tiger playing well this week?

Wasn't that Tiger smokin' his driver off 15 right down the middle, pured second
shot for essential two putt birdie. Pured three wood off seventeen with a flagged
second and then two excellent shots on eighteen. Tiger swung the club well all
week. Any criticism of Foley at this point seems a bit silly. He's done his job well.

16 did not win him he tournament...

that and the other 71 holes added together did....

It was an amazing shot, at an amazing time, but they all add up....

How many tee shots today did he even not need to watch land?

Tiger had control of his ball, period. Chip in or not, that won him the tournament today...

I hope it keeps happening and Haney may have helped his strategy at Hoylake, but didn't cure steep 10' inside out with the driver chop or skied 3 woods...

Foley and Tiger are good for golf, nothing to do with lives outside of golf....but for PLAYING THE GAME....

Really? In a 72 hole tournament? What about the other 71 holes or 278 shots?

Bmanz are u gonna do a video on tigers win?

Love the Tdub threads.... he's back.... until he's not again.

He played very good (the pitch was great) and showed his old flare for the moment. Foley now has 2 guys with multiple wins so far this season... also not too shabby.

But don't throw away those milk cartons just yet. :)

So philosphical now. Can't win it on Thursday thru Saturday but you can sure lose it.

Tiger played well Thur thru Sat but turns a probable 4 into a 2 on the 70th hole of the event. How is that not HUGE? Forget the first 3 days and 9 holes for crying out loud!!! At some point the real time circumstances dictate the situation and that's golf!

Maybe Foley is the reason he played so well..... but how can anyone ignore the use of irons, hybrids, and fairway woods off the tee? Good strategy or a cover-up for a balky driver. Hard to trust Eldridge these days and maybe that's what makes every event he enters interesting.

Does anyone really believe that Luke Donald is really the best player in the world? Who wants Luke over the next 10 years? I'll take Tiger. Majorless Luke has 10 stroke play wins on the PGA and European tours in his career and Tiger hasn't played in any of them. Next great things Rory misses 3 straight cuts, and Rickie goes for 84 today! Did Tiger or Jack ever even miss 2 straight cuts? Did a young Tiger or Jack ever shoot 80+ while playing with the top ranked players when they were 23? You don't have to like him, but he is still the best.
