Best to find one to demo. I am lucky enough to have a golf shop here that lets you demo them. Either way, the commercial/infomercial has about all the info you need to base your purchase on. Really evaluate your ball striking and determine how good you are. I'm not too keen on basing it on handicap but likely if you are above a 10 handicap or so, get the original version. If you're single digit, you're likely to benefit from the pro. You want to pick the version that you can practice with and not be out of your league.

The only problem i have with the pure striker is if you prefer to have LESS shaft lean, on purpose. You can still have some forward lean (less than what the pure striker has built in) and still hit the ball really well and play good golf. But to LEARN hitting down and LEARN to shaft lean it's a great tool.

I agree.

I lay off the shaft lean for a lot of shots and lean the hell out of it on others. I don't even profess to the "hitting down" part. That was the marketing guys who put together my infomercial. I'm a fan of lean with a shallow attack.

That one thought has made a lot of difference in my ball striking/flight.

Oh i agree, but you can't take someone who doesn't hit down much at all and just teach them the right amount, at first (at least in my experience). I try and get them to learn a steeper AOA with some shaft lean and then shallow them out with some axis tilt to achieve lean with a shallower divot.
