Kevin,

I get what youre saying. Im not so worked up about it anymore. Im hookingup w/ Brian in April and we will figure some stuff out.

Birdie, I actually love Rage, Audioslave too, but I never got into GWAR. I just know the picture from the Vietnam War. It was an ugly time, Google Image Result for http://executions.justsickshit.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/1963_monk_on_fire_vietnam.jpg

Fan,

Looking forward to working with you....

It is really simple:

Here is a little Q & A:

So Brian, do you teach a swing that gets the shaft through the forearm pre-impact?
Actually, I do for certain golfers. My pal and cohort Mike Finney is one of them. It is called the elbow plane and it is usually a naturally developed variation. Once upon a time I taught it to everyone. That all stopped in about 1989, because my tow best golfers hit it worse doing it, and better coming down the turned should plane, or for non-TGMers (or non-kool-aid TGMers) a steeper plane, with the club above that through the forearm position.

ok, and this "above the forearm" position would be the SD pattern that we worked on in '07 right?

I'm coming along w/ the SD but the biggest problem Im having is the weight transfer back to left side. You gave us 2 options in your SDP video..

1) the counterfall

2) the Hogan move

Ive tried both with mixed results, and Ive tried the move in Episode 8, which actually seems the most natural of the 3 pivot moves. Of these three which do find is the most repeatable amongst your students?

thanks

Haha I just said GWAR for fun. Who knows!

They are comically terrible.

The picture.....it really is an ugly thing when you get right down to it. There's nothing good about war. True or not, "Legend has it" that his heart never burned when they cremated him.

It's a neat picture and yes there is a lot to it if you want to read into it some. But I really only put it up cause I like the band and the album.

Brian,

Thank you sir.

I broke out old my old Wild Bill Melhorn video and he said he based his whole swing on that "back and forth" motion you are doing in the SDP video. He said it helped synchronize the arms and body.

I'm unsure if Melhorn was throwing in any right hand power at the bottom, (hitting?) but apparently even Hogan said he was one of the better ball strikers he'd ever seen.

When will you start teaching in Louisville? I need to make the trek from Indy as early as possible. April?

GOOD THING WILD BILL WAS ABLE TO WATCH BRIAN VIDEO
