Beth Daniel used to use the long putter but she doesn't play any more. I think Sherri Steinhauer used one too.
EDIT: apparently we are a few years too late with the "first to win a major with a long putter", Steinhauer won the Women's British Open with one.....of course it was the Women's British Open.

I just hate the sight of long putters but if they work for someone you cannot fault them but i agree with everyone jumping on the bandwagon. If someone won a Major putting with a driver everyone would follow just like the sheep to the sheperd lol It is a slight over reaction I mean the long putter has been on tour for about 30 years! I will stick to my sexy Taylormade Imola 8 Thank you
