Seeing I started this thread I have one more question. I accept Brians answer, but what rules would one do to get back on track once he is off it?

I used to "lose it' when i tried to fix the effect (ball flight) and not the cause (for me, lagging the hosel). If it went right, i flipped it left. Went left, hung on to it. My advice is to get to know YOUR swing inside and out so that you can sort thru a couple things so you can fix it mid round.

Golf is all about momentum. Good things start happening your focus changes, there more of a bounce in your step, good ole karma. One city tournament I shot 66 Saturday, opened with a 33 the next morning (Sunday)(unbelieveable), 18 holes left- one hole I lipped out for birdie, then triple bogey then par then bogey, summary shot 80 for that 18 to finish second (-1).....another mans dream, is my nightmare....lol got the news paper article still at work as a reminder. Last couple years can't break 80 in an individual event. Figure this out and someone will get a prize!
