Hi Brian!
I am working hard as h*ll with keeping the left wrist flat. (Hmm, I'm a leftie, so really, in my case it's the right wrist...)
With chipping and pitching i think it works fine, but when I speed up to a normal swing the trouble begins. Yes, I think I can hold my (front hand) wrist flat, but I think not for as long as I should. I notice that it breaks down at some point - it looks like it's after impact, but I suspect the break down happens too early. I just don't percept it quick enough.
I kept working on this last evening at the range with slow tempo, but no - the wrist breaks down too early. I tried to, like reach further out - stretch out my arms to prevent this from happening. Nope... I understand that the wrist has to break down at some point, but when.
Brian, do you have any tips on how to solve this and maybe a drill. A checkpoint? Perhaps explain in a video?
Thanks.

I am 50 and have a pretty bad back... (hernia) Yes, I know, go to the gym and strengthen my muscles is a good way to start - because it's vital to have some amount of flexibility to perform a good swing. Dooh. Everybody knows that.
So Brian, for us that are less flexible. Some help?
