I've found that I hit straighter shots when I feel like I pick the ball (no divot or brush divot) and don't drag the handle into the ground. I've also found that the pick/brush divot doesn't feel anywhere near as solid on a consistent basis as when I drag the handle, massively deloft and throw the club in the ground.
Is a pick, or brush divot, what one would normally see with the 7 iron through 3 wood?
Bacon strips for 8 iron through PW?
Beaver pelts still for GW-LW?
If you had a 120 yard par 3 with relatively flat green would you tee the ball up and pick it with your GW or PW?
