I think he is getting on his right big toe early - loosing his right cheek against the wall and collapsing into the ball.

Most hackers would go over the top from there but he fights it well and gets too inside.

I'd just keep his right foot on the ground longer in the downswing keeping his right cheek on the wall longer.

So Hard for me to say..It looks like to me Rory has had that right arm get glued to his right side so early in the DS for so long, that if you told him to carry the club down the first few balls he'd hit would be the ugliest hooks you ever saw. I'd say Tumble transition, that would be the first place. Check out this cool rear view of Rory's swing.

Like fallin' out of bed.

Very basically, he would need to maintain his left side bend longer, and more left arm flying wedge tumble.

I could get more detailed....but why? ;)

Question for everyone what should be the angle of attack with a six iron? I know the PGA Tour avg is -4.1 and mine is -6.6. Here are the rest of the numbers:
Club Path .3
V Swing Plane 67
H Swing Plane -2.5
Face Angle -.2
Ball Speed 126.7
Smash Factor 1.42
Vertical Angle 12.0
Horizontal Angle -.3
Spin Rate 6163
Spin Axis 4.0

No this is the average of the ten shots I hit with a six iron. I would say my trajectory is mid to high. If I need to hit it low I can for all the years playing on windy courses.

It is very difficult to comment on a swing by just looking at the average values, unless you are very consistent. For eg. The ball flight should be straight (and low) with a slight draw based on club delivery, but your ball has a fade spin, as though you hit them on the heel every time. But your smash factor is very good, for a heel contact. Individual swings may offer better insight

My contact is always on the heel, and I fight the pull hooks is my miss. The wind was blowing pretty hard left to right during the session. I know from the secret of the straight shot article from the trackman newsletter that if you have heel hits the club path better be from the inside to hit a straight shot.
