i have always believed that one man's garbage is another mans treasure.

i am very in favor of brian the person.....his research, his work ethic etc.....

you said he is "way way way" ahead........but if you dont get the first "way" or the 2nd "way" everything else may go by the "way side"

i am a brian manzella fan........but i would not take a lesson from him.......

no disrespect.......but i on 90% of the things

i am clueless........screw the d-plane and the 4th accumulation, and the 5th this....and 7 that

just teach me to hit the FREkin...down the middle

just like stack and tilt.......that was used by players in the 1969 ryder cup...staying on the left side.....

yes yes...i readd your post....and you are smart...

but there are over 10, 000 people on here

and 10 participate..."yes yes.....exaggerated.....but you get the idea

and with respect.......these other people didnt get to where they are by not knowing things

i wasnt dissing brian, i said i would not take a lesson

because i feel like brian is beyond simplicity.....if i was

a good player...i would go to him...to get ...even better

i am not.....i want to swing "my swing" and hit the ball

now guys.....this is not fact....it is my opinion....and an opinion cant be wrong

oh man, that's a bummer!
i think brian prides himself on being able to explain things to anyone - be it very complex or simple...
i could be wrong, but i doubt brian is out on the lesson tee trying to explain the d plane to someone who doesn't know/want to know what it is.

i am no one special...just a person who loves the game...

but i do know there are different jockeys for different horses.

lets take michael jacobs....he and brian are best of friends.....so my comfort level in sharing this is high...

michael was trying to fix something on the uncle swing (relative anyway)

couldnt do it.....................brian was there...he asked brian to help...BOOM......5 swings later....fixed

i am not comparing mj to bm.....both good.....in fact excellent......i think mj...is more for the "common" golfer

like me.....brian is more for the advanced.....its just an opinion....a feeling....

nothing more nothing less

Isn't that what is/was covered in the biggest lie? The fact that you don't approach each student with the "one best pattern" like the s and t"

If one student needs to lean more left or move more to the right or whatever, the instructor has to make the call (and usually feedback of the student will help the direction of the instructor) on what will most benefit the player. Plummer and Bennett say their pattern is, in their research, the best way to hit the ball the "straightest AND the furthest". Does mean that every golfer will be able to do what they say to do? Not very likely for a variety of reasons.

Having not taken a lesson from Brian (and I very much would like to) I can't determine his approach with a student, but if you read his blogs and listen to his videos (which I have) you could come away with what hjack is talking about. Overloaded information. I like that information personally because it helps me understand the various swing patterns that I will see as an instructor and how to better help a slicer or hooker or whatever.

What I am almost sure of though (and I hope that I may someday learn the truth firsthand) is that Brian is going to make sure that he explains what it is he feels will help you after seeing your swing in such a way that you do understand it and in such a way that you can improve your (fill in the blank)

Not saying you have to take a lesson from him but I wouldnt pass up the chance!

and you work xtra hard with this site

your ability is "pga teaching level"

you dont teach 3rd grade with a dr. degree

Bmanz "dumbs" it down like no other. Anyone that's been around here for more than 10 minutes should know that. That's probably why many stick around here. If someone doesn't understand he'll find a way. Good grief.

Refreshing honesty and you're totally allowed your opinion. But I can assure you, this guy can dummy down the techno-talk with anybody. I would recommend novice to tour player. Artist or engineer. You or Mandrin.

This is one of the dumbest things ever written. I'm sorry. What the hell is "pga teaching" level? And if you did teach 3rd grade with a doctorate it doesnt mean you have to sound like you have one.

i watched one of the live channel things

i asked a question cant rem what it was, but i remember bman kinda laughing and saying just raise your arms. ok....the question was important to me, but i guess it was 2 simple....

as far as dumming it down.........maybe i am lower then dummy down

When did you call the island? PM me. I never got it. I ALWAYS return calls. Why come on here and go out of your way to make a point of saying you wouldnt take a lesson from him? whats the point? Do you have some kind of axe to grind?

Apologies for not getting the call. Are you working your way up to Angelina, as well? :D BTW, for the record, impretty sure thats not how most wouldve taken your first posts on this topic. This last one is much clearer on your point. I must've needed it dummied down:p
