I will be attending the 9th semi-annual PGA teaching and Coaching Summit on Port St. Lucie, Florida from December 8th through the 12th.

I will be rooming with and accompanying my long-time mentor Ben Doyle.

We are among the VERY few teachers that have attended every Summit.

Are any of the other professionals who visit this site going to be in attendance also?

I posted this on The Golfing machine forum and did not get a response.

So....who's going??

Sorry Brian,

Not going this year. The theme "Teaching teachers to Teach" along with the line up of primary presentors doesn't wet my appetite.

No Kidding.

The PGA does a poor job of getting guys you HAVEN'T heard or really want to hear.

So be it.

Part of the fun for me is finding out every two years how much BETTER I am at what I do then almost everyone.

Stan Utley is the ONLY person I have not already seen do a presentation or lesson and I really don't want to see anymore of them.

Jim Hardy, David Leadbetter, Jim Flick, Dr. Rick Jensen, Fred Shoemaker, and Dr. Paul Schempp

Flick? Damn, who would want to miss him sitting in a chair swinging a club, again? Grab some popcorn, sit back and howl. What's the over/under on how many times he says Mr. Nicklaus?

OK, 47, but how many of those will be "Mr. Nicklaus" and how many will be "Mr. Jack William Nicklaus"? ;)

I think Shoemaker was a good player. Hardy, I think, is Peter Jacobsen's current teacher.

Most of these guys do know how to market themselves... maybe something there can be learned.

Brian,

Unfortunately, I will have to sit this one out. I was looking forward to it but the obligations of two small ones at home are taking priority.

Hope you have some laughs...

Brady

I'm trying to avoid instructional discussions out of respect for your website Brian. But I will say that the aiming point is the same, and try to leave it at that my friend.
