Okay, so now does tiger go it alone, or who steps in as his coach? I will throw out a name: Dale Lynch

Dear Hank, ... Tiger says hello ... this is how it's going to work ... you're going to come out and say you're not Tiger's coach anymore ... got it ... good ... Thanks ... Best Wishes, Mark Steinberg

How 'bout them apples?

So does everyone think that the report is true, the hank resigned? Or do you think that Tiger had a convo with Hank and basically fired him, but allowed hank to publicly announce that hank is the one breaking up? My thought is that Hank is just saving face here by not having word come out that he got fired by Tiger.

I agree with Zarro. My feeling is that Tiger told Hank that the partnership was over, he could either resign or be fired.

The reports that I read said it was the Golf Channel who forced Haney to resign siting a conflict of interest - he was already under contract to help some one else break 80.

Edit:

Conkanen, you beat me to it :p

If Tiger continues to duff them there's a good chance he will go to Plummer and Bennet for some S&T to sort out where the club hits the turf.

I think Ryan Smither had it right...

Hank Haney's voicemail:

"Hey, it's Tiger. Look, I need you to do me a huge favor. Could you please take your swing and not teach it to me anymore? Just change it so that it doesn't have your name on it anymore. I need you to do this for me. Huge. Quickly.

Alright, bye."
