I'm getting to the point where I don't really care about Tiger. Initially, sure he cheated but I figured he and his wife would make their own decisions and move on - so that didn't bother me. I was hopeful we'd get to see greatness again - soon.

What really bothers me now is the lying/ lack of truthfulness - on top of the lying regarding his personal life. One moment he's fine - healthy - next withdrawing because of neck injury that's been there since pre-masters. He has no idea how it will go moving forward with the neck - until the MIR - so he brushed off specific questions about the future and the neck as stupid - at the same time when asked if the accident could have created the neck injury - he instantly became an expert neck doctor and said "Absolutely had nothing to do with it". Whether that's true or not - that's a BS answer.

Dear Tiger,
I'm OK with people that make a mistake, realize it, make changes and move on. People who lie, then continue to lie - then have an attitude in regards to people that question it - I don't need that in my life. Have a nice life Mr. Buddha!

First off Tiger didn't lie about his injury, he just didn't whine to everybody about it. Second, i watched the conference and Tiger didn't brush off questions as stupid. He answered them and if people don't like the answers that's their problem, deal with it.

Also where do you get that he continously lies, like your some expert about Tiger's life and you know all the truths about it. You and most everyone else are just quessing about things and have no real knowledge of what is going on in Tiger's life.

Haney told Rosaforte during TPC week:

"Tiger would not send someone to tell me I was fired. He would do it himself."

Then Haney quits by text....hmm

I thought there were a few issues with Butch

1. Tiger did not want Butch to have other students and it was a contentious issue.
2. Tiger would often ask Butch to drop everything and fly out to an event, I often hear from Phil "I called Butch".

I doubt Tiger is going to be very cool with his teacher working with Phil.

Couldn't agree more!

You honestly think Haney quit? Maybe I'm wrong but I think Tiger fired him and this allows Haney to save face.

I'm a Auburn fan so to me it is like when Tommy Tuberville so called resigned. Everyone around the program knew he was run off even though it allowed him to save face. You don't pay a man a buyout that resigns but maybe this is a apples to oranges comparison.

I think Tiger's best bet would be to spend some time seeing what types of things works best for him; learn his own swing. Then do some research, find the instructor whose ideas work best with what works best for him. If he does go with Foley, I really hope that it's purely from his own investigation, and not largely because of a friend's recommendation (again).

Like I've said, the two guys he cites as owning their swings own their swings because they spent time on the range pounding it out, finding what works best for them. Not jumping from philosophy to philosophy, hoping to land on the one.

So, whad'ya win off the host?

i told brian that haney had 14 days left on the job after the masters...brian disagreed and thought that the relationship would last the year because of "contractual" issues....he lasted 30 days....

Manzella was trying to count that as a victory this morning but I convinced him otherwise...

on a related note, i also said rich rodriguez would not last two full seasons at michigan......he is entering year 3 and i will say right now to ryan smither - i was wrong!

Tiger says is a Buddhist. The Buddhist law of impermanence states that nothing, nobody lasts forever; or even for long really...everything from our swings to our souls are changing all the time. No surprises here!

Don't want to stay here and jack the thread, but I had to respond to this.
You may have been wrong, technically, but I think you had the right idea. If they don't go to a bowl game this year, he's out.

Ok, I'm back to Tiger :)
