Mark Immelman had a ball on a string dangling from the brim of his hat. After x decades of 'golf instruction' like this it should be dawning on the golfing public that few people have the goods to help their golf beyond the basics.

Chris Sassano. I think I can say without any exaggeration that there must be at least one million people on this forum who could have done a better job than this guy. And he teaches golf for a living.

We need a revolution. The golfing proletariat needs to rise up and demand real answers and real improvement from real golf instruction.

Dude, you have got to be the most annoying person to post on this forum. You never help anyone and you never really talk golf mechanics. Your like the ugly cheerleader in school shouting front and center. GO BUCS - lol

Hjack(arnie) is unique no doubt...but why you gotta bug a guy for that?

C'MON JWAT.

...!

BTW he looks to be "helping" Brian, who does run this forum and does talk golf mechanics.

jonwil

I am certain you are not...... in both instances.

ok....jon-boy lets try this for your 0-2 vikings

what have i done for Brian???

now in all fairness since you denied that i do anything 4 him you have to match me 1-4-1

1- sent his video to michael breed (golf fix) at his home course at sunningdale n.y.

2- sent his video to the Learning Channel....followed by a phone call

3- called the golf channel 2x to make sure Bman video would get FEATURED

4- gave Brian tips about outfits for t.v

5- called golf machine Joe Daniels and asked if he knew anywhere Brian Manzella would be teaching

Birdie,

Like I told Harold in a private message. I didn't mean anything personal, I am just tired of reading all this critical because I am bored crap on the forum. Lets just talk golf. There is a man's reputation at stake. He is a damn good golf instructor. Taken my handicap from a 15 to a 5 in a little over a year. You know what I am talking about. Your a great asset to the forum as well. You've seen how the forum has transformed the last 6 months.

Personally, I think Brian has a good chance of making the final 4. I've viewed some of the submissions (after a few of these it's simply hard to keep watching), and I think BM comes off as both sincere and knowing what he's doing. I don't worry so much about all the window dressing (sweat stains, background noise, etc)..... TGC know how to deal with that stuff - it's probably secondary to them.

I was around TGC a little bit in a prior career and feel like I have an idea of what they're looking for. I'm always amused at negative comments you see regarding the Big Break series..... one of their most highly rated shows ever. TV shows don't run 12+ seasons because no one is watching, yet some people seem to think that show is an absolute dog. They are clueless.

They want a little "edginess", some cocky, good-in-front-of-the-camera, decent looking, and reasonable knowledge. And a heavy dose of the ability to tell a call-in viewer that you have the fix to his swing (even though you've never seen it) with a straight face. :)

I think BM has these things. A lot of the entries I viewed don't seem to.

I'd put Immelman in my final four -- though I have to admit I haven't watched them all.

Gerald Walford gets an automatic qualifier for proudly representing my Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Brian absolutely has a great chance to get it.

Absolutely. He's great in front of a camera, knows how to talk, and anyone with half a brain can see he has the most important thing of all. Any golfer can leave a lesson with him and can be hitting the golf ball more solidly and confidently than when they arrived. It's a gift, not everyone has it and that's all that should matter.

Why are the videos off the website? I understand the entry deadline has past and facebook voting doesn't count, but you would think they would still allow people to watch them.
