this is pretty sad, but I would only watch it if they wear bikinis.

I would only watch if there were only pretty ones. Seriously. So that means Yani has to go. She looks like a guy to me. I wouldn't care if they shot 100, as long as it was eye candy.

Sad, right?

Bikinis, some of the women are not too attractive in their clothes, if they played in bikinis it might be worse. I bet u watch the womens lingerie footbal league . Im not gonna lie I watch now and then.

We are men and men like attractive women, nothing wrong with that!

I think the LFL is pretty stupid. A bunch of attractive women, doing stuff that is not at all attractive. Clearly some of them are decent athletes though. It's like they're stuck between wanting to be legitimate, and wanting to be a novelty thing. Just doesn't work well. Either make them legitimate and give them shirts where their boobs don't pop out every play, or make it a novelty thing and tell them stop acting like NFL receivers and grandstanding after every play.

This weekend on MTV2 one of the coaches in the locker room dropped the F bomb like 4 or 5 times on tv during half time. They were trying to bleep it but couldn't keep up. Pretty funny. The announcer was like "Well I guess he got his point across."

actually to my thinking you are wrong two ways............number 1 in your original comment....................and number 2.....that you didn't think it was wrong........but then again its just my opinion..
I think you might not be a very good scorekeeper if this is how you add things up. Just curious, has anyone here ever watched an entire WNBA game?

Maybe I'm weird?

For some reason I enjoy watching half naked women playing football. Must be genetics. If a boob or two pop out, it's just a bonus and I'm quite partial to the rear underwear tackle attempts as well. I suppose the Lambeau leap is a bit much but I may be persuaded otherwise if NOLA ever decides to join the league with their own team and I can get some quality seats.

That's just me though...

Uh........ok? Are you actually suggesting that what I said is in someway immoral? That people have said loud and clear that women's golf is not very popular? Whats wrong with that?

you asked me what i was suggesting............correct?? I am suggesting nothing at all............just restating what you said which was

Not at all, the LPGAs biggest problem is the L.

Wow...this thread has run off the rails.

Maybe a dumb question.......

Does Lexi's swing look a little odd to everyone else? Obviously, she hits the ball a ton, and she is very accurate. But while I was watching her on TV, something just looked a bit off-kilter. Couldn't put my finger on it.

Scorekeeper, if given the choice to watch a PGA Tour event or an LPGA Tour event, which would you choose?

If you would rather watch the PGA Tour, what are the reasons?

Given that the TV ratings are very low for the LPGA Tour, if you were the commisioner of the LPGA Tour for 2012, what would you do to raise viewership and thus attract sponsors?

would you watch if they played the same courses as the men, from the ladies tees of course?

It will happen at the U.S. Open in 2014. I don't think it will make a difference to those who don't already watch women's golf. The example of the WNBA always comes up in this regard. I don't watch the WNBA, though I don't really watch the NBA either. I'll occasionally watch some basketball, a big playoff game or when the Heat played the Cavs, but I'm a "casual fan". The "casual fan" doesn't watch the WNBA or the LPGA either. I don't watch women's tennis, the attractiveness of the competition has nothing to do with it. If I'm not invested in some way, I don't watch. I'm invested in golf so I watch the PGA, LPGA, Nationwide and European tour. Maybe not equally but I watch more LPGA tournaments than the average guy. I'm invested though, I like the game and I feel I can learn from any pro regardless of sex or orientation. Honestly I have no idea what the fix is to get more people watching because I'll watch regardless just to learn.

They are playing Pinehurst in 2014 the week after the men. They will probably widen the fairways and cut the rough. They will probably let the greens grow, if they are still alive. That's what I think will be most interesting. The greens on a US open Sunday are pretty close to death. The ladies might not have very good greens the next week.

I was told that both she and her brother on the PGA tour slide the base of the spine (the sacrum) toward the target in the downswing, whereas most top tour-level players shift the scarum toward the target in the backswing, then away from the target in the downswing.

This sliding toward the target causes a hip stall, so, to get power, she jumps and at the same time dips her upper body so she can still reach the ball.

At least, that's my theory. And it's free!

I gotta think that with that swing, Lexi won't win as many majors as Yani. But she might be the top American player, at least.
