Ok. So is the average LPGA player a flipper? If "yes", is the flip a fault?
What do you think the "average" male, amateur golfer should look like if his clubhead speed is closer to 95mph than 112mph?
The photo on the right is rotated about 35 degrees from face-on. What is the deviation from face on for each photo?
Are LPGA players "flippers"? Often, yes.
Is it a "fault"? I can't say that it is since they hit the ball pretty pure.
Could they hit it better with more clubhead speed if they lined-up later, like the men? Yes, I think so.
Do you acknowledge that changing the veiwing angle will skew the results you are measuring?

Random request but i'd like to see before i make my "guess" do you have anything from Michelle Wie? I'd like to check something out.
Thanks

Leadbetter ruined swing or pre lead athletic motion?
LOL preferably pre but i don't think either matter; what i was getting at is i *think* (pure hunch) it has to do with strength to be able to get around enough in the downswing pivot to get the hands in a better spot to allow the line up to happen where the men's do. So my hunch is that they don't and they slow down sooner allowing things to catch up and pass them faster. Again PURE HUNCH.
Reason i wanted to see Wie's is because from an athletic standpoint she seemed like she might have been able to have something similar to the men's.
I have a slap-hinge-flippy girlie LPGA release, yet I'm a long hitter by anyone's standard. I like girls.
The ball doesn't seem to care.
I can say that I didn't get good with the driver until I got rid of my flat left wrist....
are you accurate?
Slap-hinge release is way more accurate than crossover one.
Cheers
Not a fan of either but I guess my concern is how they are being achieved, usually those crossover rolls are a result and not a cause, not sure about the slap type move having never really studied it.
