So I guess I'll ask for help (with video)...

Out of Sync Only

Brad -- It does look good. It'd be very interesting to see your numbers. This pivot looks much more in-sync than before.

That is what I also noticed from the 1st swing posted to the 2nd one that was the slight block out to the right one. For the 3rd posted swing the rotation or "pivot" of your upper body is more in sync with the lower, more pivot lag. In the 2nd swing it looks to me as if your upper body is rotating a little more quickly on the way to the ball. Timing really......mechanics look sound, great balance. A little bobbing with the head but nothing too critical. Keep up the good work!

I would hesitate to change ANYTHING.

You are a natural "elbow planer," and that is NOT "behind you."

You have a very modern pivot, and a A+ backswing.

We need to fix your Alignment vs. D-Plane issues—period.

OK, one last try ....you went from a self-described fader (with an occasional big push-fade miss right) to Trackman nums indicating you're now a slight pull-drawer (w/irons) and hit a hook with the driver.

Could you please explain what you changed in your swing and if this is where you want to be? This is all very interesting considering le chef's (BM's) and Kevin's earlier comments on your swing. Thanks.

It is.

But I should clarify. What do you think I'm trying to do in this swing? What do you think the upgrade is?

And it's not keeping my right foot down longer.

Well, it's hard to look at a lot of things without slowing it down. But the things that stand out to me are slightly earlier axis tilt, shoulders more on plane at impact, and maintaining axis tilt longer after impact. I don't know if you're trying to do those things, but they look like upgrades to me.

Impact looks way more intentional left. You following the yellow brick road there a little bit?

That's what I was going to say. Still SD-ish backswing with slightly different alignment more left and a little more NHA-ish move downswing with a little carry to hit a fade (and not block the ball straight right)? Now hitting a fade or straight ball?

More axis tilt at address?...more axis tilt at the top...more inside in backswing? (affected by latter?)...

...aim righter swing lefter?

Less tendency to swing too far right as you add tilt in downswing...more "hit the box", shallow AOA with forward lean type-impact.

A little more "lean away and hit it with whole shaft."

Shorter hair. (for bonus)

Looks good Brad. (the swing! :))

Stepping on the right foot more/earlier in the backswing?

Yeah definitely more dynamic, not that the first swings didn't look good but they seemed much more robotic than the new swings. I would think this would help with your feel to control your d-plane parameters.

That was interesting how your interest to make things look so perfect on camera contributed to the more mechanical look.

Brad,

Looks like your hips are working steeper (straighter ish right knee) and shoulders are more perpendicular to you spine. Looks like you are using the ground better to push off of more back and through.

As far as what you are trying to do, hmmm. Hell I don't know?

But it looks athletic and dynamic and like you are stressing the shaft more.
Looks good man!

Matt

For the record, I never tried to make my swing "look good on camera." I've just tried to improve my ballflight and my scores.

But you're right, the upgrades have definitely made me more dynamic.

Time to put the scatter gun away and get out the rifle if you want to win the gold star. :D

You guys are close. Stay tuned for updates down the road.

I can't hold my breath much longer.

I'll take a shot in the meantime. It looks as if you have added more force into the start of your backswing which results in a more forceful transition and downswing.

Have you been able to lower your ballflight some?

holeout i have noticed that all your swings are from synthetic mats how to you guage divot patterns? and does this affect your angle of attack?
