I don't know if it clarifies anything but, if checking the grip with the club face like Brian shows, it is very much a Manzella neutral grip.
Which is too weak for you.

You guys think that is a slightly weak left hand grip?
It may appear so if you look at the knuckles showing but the thumb placement seems a little on the strong side.
I think thumb placement is a better indication of relative grip strength. Here is Mavers showing his grip with thumb placement directly on top of the shaft but still showing two knuckles.

Gotcha. I'll lengthen the thumb and strengthen the grip. Do you think 10-15 degrees toe up, checking with arm out and flat wrist, is enough?
I don't like your right hand grip . Not on top enough , it's stronger than it looks. It looks like it's not playing a part in your video but I could be wrong on that one.
But that's just me, I hate strong right hand grips or 'fake' right hand grips.
If you can't swing with a neutral or weakish right hand grip then something is wrong with your swing. A bold statement, but I think it's close. Alot of hackers can't . Maybe lack of pivot , not sure.
Get it more on top and keep it there.
I think most golfers underestimate the role of the right hand in the grip.
It's all left hand this, left hand that .....
blah blah ....
edit on the swing video first post it looks ok.

dannyuk, I couldn t agree more. A strong right hand grip indicates a major flaw in your swing and the "need" for the pacifier that is the strong right hand grip.
Suppose it depends on the player. Creases \ vs could mean nothing, particularly the left hand grip where there may need to be a gap.
Go by the palm angles as you place and finish your hands if you want to judge 'strength' of grip.
For the right hand the vs \ crease is always pretty tight for most players so you maybe could use it... right chin is good point.
Whatever, I think for the right hand it's important you keep that lifeline \ fleshy part on top of left thumb. If you then have a decent thumb position I doubt your crease \ vs would be outside your right chin in front of mirror. Maybe a little bit, and would depend on setup \ head position of course.
I judge the strength of the right hand by where the #3 PP is relative to the sweetpot

I would like anyone to talk about another part of the swing. On the downswing, spktho's head moves forward, it looks like, a foot. Is that not a problem? I believe that this is part of his "carry," but is there supposed to be that much head movement? I ask this question because I am trying to include more carry into my swing and I worry about moving forward too much in my swing.

I have mp-32's now and am realizing, I can't handle them like I would like to. I am too inconsistent. I like the feel of the forged clubs, but I think I need a cavity backed iron.
I have checked some of the other sites, but Callaway pre-owned beats them--although, I don't know the condition of their "average" rating clubs.

Too horizontal hand path, a steep, stood up shaft thru impact, open faces, too inside out a path, leakage, to name a few.

Ha! Explains some things in my swing!

See if you can still find the Adams A4 irons. Got mine on E-Bay for 350.00 new! Best set of irons I've ever hit. Forged, but they are still forgiving. Def worth a look!
