Performance on the course
On the range you get in the groove hitting shot after shot. The problem on the course is all shots are the first shot, usually after a delay with many mental distractions. So how do you practice the "first shot". On the range don't rake balls to you. Leave them far enough away to have a new grip, new stance and new alignment. That makes them close to a "first shot". We all know that "Bubba" or the mulligan is always better. I am convinced there are tournament and pressure players. We all know those that keep winning in our club tournaments. Scoring is a different talent than ball striking. Also if the sports psych guys didn't produce results the pros wouldn't keep hiring them.
